Nikolaus Roche-Kresse

Nikolaus Roche-Kresse is graduated with a master’s degree with distinction in philosophy from Paris XII University, award-winning alumnus of the Conservatory of Dramatic Arts in Créteil and trained at the Ecole des Gobelins.
He was Artistic Director at the Publicis group for 10 years for more than 150 brands, including almost all the CAC 40 companies, before joining Ubisoft, where he worked for 5 years as an expert in the staging and direction of games known the world over, such as Assassin’s Creed, Far Cry, Watch Dogs, The Crew, Rainbow Six, The Division, Valiant Hearts, as well as R&D on emotional prototyping in Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR).
At the same time, he was assistant director and then script doctor for the Oscar-winning Danish director Gabriel Axel and worked for many years with producer Christian Fechner. His latest short film, L’Automne de Zao (AKA The Autumn of Zao), has won 51 official selections and 13 awards and honours at major international festivals.
